Clarksville Commons has an anchor tenant and is now underway. FoodPlenty Restaurant is taking the lead spot in the Route 108 project, with an 8,000 foot space from which it will sell ‘comfort foods.’

(For those not tuned in to the Food Network, comfort foods are sentimental or nostalgic favorites, like chicken soup or tuna melts). The restaurant is a spinoff of the Victoria Gastro Pub. GreenStone Ventures II, LLC, headed by George Stone, is developing the project on an old school site next to Kendall Hardware that it acquired from the county. Stone just broke ground, and the entire project will also include about 40,000 feet of retail space. Waverly Real Estate is leasing the project.
